A reading by Michael Longley in Tower Poetry’s 10th anniversary year
Michael Longley is one of today’s most celebrated poets. He has published eight collections of poetry, including Gorse Fires, which won the Whitbread Prize, and The Weather in Japan, which won both the Hawthornden Prize and the T S Eliot Prize. His collection, Snow Water, won the Librex Montale Prize, and in 2001 he received the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry. His reading drew a large audience of poetry lovers.
