Another’s
Tomb. Fore,
Aft, ichthyic
Grazes blaze
Sepulchral
Stone,
Self-laid.

The prow
Breasts the
Wessex waves.
Pheasant blood
In gratuitous
Glaze
Threads two
Globes

As silted lands,
Steel horizons
Tempered beneath
Scalloped
Shores,
Confine
The span.

New world. I’ve
Staked seven,
And bind blooming
Rime
To common
Root,

Wrought
A crude glass
Eye,
Salt-flecked,
To erode the woven
Miles.

Parchment-
Scythed,
Skimmed from
Native knife,
An alchemic
Exchange,
Ink pulsing
Through veins,
They

Amass,
Compass the
Decks and
Gather the
Ages.
